Beyond Levels, Curves and Color Balance: Using Channel Blends to Improve Your Images
When it comes to making color and contrast corrections to images, everyone knows how to fiddle with levels and some even know about curves. Few know that within the channels of each image are the best options to improve their visual impact.
Attendees of all skill levels are welcome, but should have some familiarity with both layers and channels.
ABOUT JOHN EAKIN:
A serious artist, John is the "go to" guy in high demand for teaching digital imaging to filmmakers and still photographers working in the motion picture industry. If you've seen an image about a movie in the last 10 years there's a good chance he was involved in its creation.
John has worked professionally in photography for 30 years. He is a black belt in Photoshop, which he began using at its initial release 20 years ago, as he realized it would permanently change the world of photography.
He spends the greater part of his days at Studio Photo Imaging in Hollywood, blending artistic and technical imaging expertise to provide useful answers and practical information for photographers and artists.
